2013: Assigned to the SaberCats on a new two-year contract in Oct. of 2012 ... Made season debut on 3/23 @ SA, posted four total tackles (three solo), recovered a fumble, returned six kickoffs for 127 yards (averaging 21.8 yards per return) and returned a missed field goal for 24 yards ... Made one-and-a-half tackles and returned a kickoff 58 yards for the game-winning touchdown on 3/29 vs. ORL … Had four solo tackles in addition to 139 return yards @ ARI on 4/6 … Made his first reception of the year and ended the game with four for 32 yards and had three solo tackles on defense against SPO on 4/19 ... DNP @ NO on 4/27 or 5/4 vs. CLE, vs. TB on 5/10 or @ JAC on 5/18.

2012 AFL: Originally assigned to the SaberCats on 3/6, but was placed on injured reserve on 3/16. Reassigned to the SaberCats on 6/27 ... Made 2012 SaberCats debut on 6/30 @ CHI, recorded three-and-a-half tackles and recovered a fumble ... Made one tackle on 7/7 vs. NO … Recorded six tackles on 7/14 vs. IOWA.

2011 AFL: Played in and started twelve games for the SaberCats before injuring his knee … Was a versatile and multi-position threat in 2011, spending time at defensive back and wide receiver, while also returning kicks … Brookins led the team in all-purpose yards with 1,319, recorded 49.5 tackles with three interceptions, caught 36 passes for 418 receiving yards and returned 43 kicks for 788 yards.

2010 AFL: Split time between the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz and the Spokane Shock of the AFL, accumulating 24 tackles, three pass break-ups and two fumble recoveries in total.
